billion spending increase. huge increase in spending. the other side of the coin is tax sayings. we are going to be -- we are bringing 2.7 trillion in taxation last year. it will be 2.3 trillion next year and the president wants another trillion on top of that. the big picture very clear. tax more, spend more, more government. gregg: off camera you were telling me about the earned income tax credit. >> included in this budget there is an expansion of the earned income tax credit. that's a check that goats out in the mail to people who are working that earn very little money. the president proposed to expand that and bring in an extra 13 million people to get that check every year. those 13 million people have no children. at the moment you can't get the earned income tax credit if they have got no children. the president will expand that, people with no children will be brought in. 13 million more people getting that check in the mail, paid for by you the taxpayer. it's a vast expansion of what we call the social security net under this budget. gregg: there are a great many skeptics on
